Hottest Travel Destinations for Gay Men in 2019

Dudes, spring is here, so you better have your spring break destination for 2019.
However, if you’re thinking about it because you’re living at the edge and you do things in the last minute, let us give you certain tips on where you could go. Also, if you happen to have your spring break planned, have these destinations in your mind for the remainder of 2019 as these really are destinations that every gay person should visit once in their lifetime, or even in 2019.
So, where could you go to twerk your nights off in 2019?
1. Gay New York City
Obviously, the first choice is always the gayest of them all – New York. The Big Apple is the mecca of the homo culture, so if you haven’t been here, this is your chance. 2019 should be the year you visit this city also because it’s the 50th anniversary of Stonewall, which is going to be even gayer. I am not Jonathan from Queer Eye, but can you believe? (great pun, I’ll applaud myself). The best dates would be anytime between June 1st and June 30th because of the 2019 World Pride, so if you want to experience the best parties, conferences, culinary events, celebrity sightings, film nights and art exhibitions, this is your time to go there. If you want to be one of the estimated 3 million people expected to pride, even better.
2. Gay Australia
If you’re a bit calmer in nature, then you might choose something that will suit your personality. A great place would be Australia, as this spectacular country has so much to offer. The first option would be to visit Sydney or Melbourne and party like crazy, of you could go to a quieter part of the country and still have a lot of fun. Seeing some of the most beautiful examples of nature, having a pint of craft beer in Margaret River and then hitting a club really makes a great adventure. If you want to be adventurous, you can do that in Australia as well. Simply rent a car and do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road, see some of the most iconic landscapes and return home overwhelmed
3. Gay Vienna, Austria

This is a very biased thing to say as each city in Europe is unique in its own way, but Vienna really is one of the most beautiful cities on this continent. Not only that, but it’s also a great place for all gay things. You can literally see all kinds of gay fashion in the streets, and if you don’t believe us, simply take a look at the photos from EuroPride, perhaps you will like it enough to book your tickets for EuroPride 2019 during the first two weeks of June. Another very interesting thing to do in Vienna is to visit the Schonbrunn Palace and see its spectacular gardens (spoiler alert: you won’t have time to see the entire garden).
4. Gay Thailand
For all the lovers of the exotic, there is a country that is always welcoming towards their gay fans – Thailand. However, it’s not Bangkok that you can visit, as Thailand has many more beautiful places. One of them is definitely Phuket, where you can experience the Phi Phi Island Hopping. Thailand is definitely a place where you can have a great time, but also relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Make sure to book a great hotel, and simply relax.
5. Gay Tokyo, Japan

K Pop is extremely popular nowadays, simply take a look at the YouTube views of bands such as Blackpink and BTS. This means that Korea and Japan are slowly becoming even more popular touristic attractions, so if you want to see a bit of the East, you should consider Tokyo. Tokyo is a city that never sleeps, and it has an excellent LGBT scene that’s often underrated. You can opt for one of the two high-profile gay cruises, such as the Atlantis Asian gay cruise or the all-lesbian one, “Wonders of Japan” tour – both of them end in Tokyo. The Atlantis cruise docks the same day as the Toyo’s gay pride celebration starts (the end of April). Even if you miss Tokyo this year, try to make it a must next year.
There are so many more amazing places that you can see this year, but we have so many destinations and so little time. This is why ladies you should opt for the best this year and make room for something else in 2020. Which one’s gonna be your destination?
