Doesn't do what I wanted

To start, the reason I'm even looking at chastity devices is to prevent boners in public, and to keep things a little cleaner down there. It's not anything sexual, like for most users of these devices. That said, it didn't do the one thing I wanted. I've got a 5" floppy, 7" stiff. As great as that may seem, it gets cumbersome, fast. Imagine having to fold your dick into your waistband every 10 minutes. I thought "Oh, these cages will stop me from having to do anything about my dick showing up uninvited to work!". I was wrong. It only keeps it pointed down. It also makes the bulge much more noticeable when it's soft, which isn't what I'm after. When it gets semi-hard, it does a good job of keeping things somewhat subtle, but when my dick decides something looks nice, it pops up like nobody's watching, only now there isn't much I can do about it, because it won't bend easily enough to tuck into my waistband anymore. Oh well. Maybe I'll find another use for it. I do like the way it feels, except for the ball ring, and that the underside of my shaft chafes a little after wearing it to bed a few nights in a row. Maybe I'm wearing it incorrectly. I haven't worn it all day during work hours yet, so I can't say if it keeps things cleaner than usual. I was considering pairing it with a catheter so I wouldn't have to get up to pee, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. Probably not, but I'm one to try anyway.
